The modern round brilliant cut diamond was introduced by Marcel Tolkowsky in 1919 and since then it has become the most popular diamond shape due to its exceptional attributes. This shape of diamond has exceptional brightness and sparkle when it is cut to the correct specifications.
All of our diamonds are carefully chosen for their excellent combination of cut, clarity, color and carat weight (the four C’s). All diamonds from Ogham Jewellery are also guaranteed to be conflict free as we only purchase from reputable suppliers who source their diamonds through the Kimberley Process.
Larger diamonds (usually above 0.5 carats) often come with a diamond grading certificate, this is a certificate from an independent diamond grading laboratory which describes the quality of the diamond. Smaller diamonds generally do not have certificates, but will often have an estimated quality. Ogham Jewellery only supply high quality diamonds with a minimum quality of G-H colour and SI clarity, none of our diamonds have inclusions which are visible to the naked eye or visible yellow or brown colour.
